Literacy in Mathematics
It is important that students experience content from multiple perspectives and from different representations. In algebra we use NAGS continuously so that students are able to solve problems flexibly when they encounter new situations. NAGS uses multiple representations including Number, Algebra (or Algorithm), Graphical, and Sentence.
